Cairo, May 2026 – Foundever.org proudly celebrated the graduation of the 9th cohort of Freelance Mama, an initiative designed to support women in Egypt through digital upskilling, employability, and access to new professional opportunities connected to the future of work.
This latest cohort graduated 35 women who completed specialized training tracks in:
- Community Management
- Content Creation
- Graphic Design
Demonstrating the practical impact of the program, 10% of participants had already secured job opportunities even before completing the full journey.
The graduation event brought together participants, local teams, and program leaders to celebrate the achievements, resilience, and personal growth of the women who completed the program. Benedita Miranda, Executive Director of Foundever.org and EMEA COO of Foundever, joined the local team, together with Nahla Rashed, HR Director, and Shorouk Rabie, Coordinator of Freelance Mama, to recognize this important milestone.
Since its launch, FreelanceMama has continued expanding opportunities for women seeking greater economic independence, digital skills, and flexible career paths. With this new cohort, the program has now supported more than 380 women through practical training and professional development opportunities.
The initiative reflects Foundever.org’s broader commitment to creating access to education, employability, and digital inclusion through practical, community-centered programs developed in collaboration with local partners and teams.
As technology and digital transformation continue reshaping the employment landscape, programs like Freelance Mama play an increasingly important role in helping women access future-ready skills and participate more actively in the digital economy.
“At Foundever.org, we strongly believe that access to education and digital skills can create long-term opportunities not only for individuals, but also for families and communities,” said Benedita Miranda. “Freelance Mama is a great example of how practical upskilling and local collaboration can generate meaningful impact.”
Foundever.org congratulates all graduates of the 9th cohort and thanks everyone involved in making the program possible.
Stay tuned for the celebration of Freelance Mama’s 10th cohort. 💙
