As part of the Inspiring Futures programme, a collaboration between Foundever.org and Inspiring Girls, 67 students in Madrid recently took part in a workshop designed to help them explore future career opportunities, build confidence and gain insights into the world of work.

The session was delivered at a local school and coordinated by the Inspiring Girls Spain team, bringing students together with professional women from different backgrounds who shared their experiences, career journeys and perspectives on navigating today’s evolving workplace.

Representing Foundever, volunteers Paula Molinero, Paula Rodriguez, Vanisha Manoj and Carmen Carmona participated as role models, engaging students in open discussions about education, professional growth and the skills needed to succeed in the future.

Throughout the 90-minute workshop, students were encouraged to reflect on their aspirations, ask questions and explore the many pathways available to them. By providing access to relatable role models and real-life experiences, the programme aims to help young people broaden their horizons and make informed decisions about their future.

The Inspiring Futures programme forms part of Foundever.org’s commitment to expanding access to opportunity through education, employability and mentorship initiatives. In partnership with Inspiring Girls, the programme connects students with women professionals who can inspire confidence, challenge stereotypes and encourage young people to pursue their ambitions.

“We know that exposure to role models can have a lasting impact on how young people view their future possibilities,” said Mariana Victorino, Operational Director of Foundever.org. “Through Inspiring Futures, we aim to help students see that their aspirations are achievable and that there are many different paths to success.”

The Madrid workshop is one of several sessions being delivered through the programme, with the next workshop scheduled to take place in Barcelona later this year.

By creating opportunities for meaningful conversations between students and professionals, Inspiring Futures continues to support the next generation as they prepare for the future of work.
