Meet Soukaina, from uncertainty to fulfillment
Before joining the program, master’s student Soukaina was worried about what comes after school. How do you break into the professional world? What do you need to get started? These are valid questions given a competitive and unstable job market, entry-level roles with increasingly high expectations, and a dizzying number of important steps needed to apply!
From the second session, Soukaina noticed a positive change in her job profile. Her mentor Alexander helped her construct a resume that will stand out to recruiters. He also helped her design and improve her LinkedIn profile and page so it will attract genuine connection.
Before even finishing the program, Soukaina secured a job with the High Commission for Planning in Morocco, the country’s national statistics office – her first job. Soukaina was able to take everything she learned in the mentorship and apply it to her job search.
Thinking back to her CV from before the program to where it is now, all Soukaina can say is “wow.” Thanks to Foundever.org and GMI, Soukaina truly feels like she has evolved as a professional and she no longer has that uncertainty about the professional world.
