Foundever.org and Carerha launch first cohort in Casablanca and continue national expansion in 2026
Casablanca, April 15, 2026. Following the announcement of the Business Mama program in Morocco earlier this January, Foundever.org and Carerha are taking the next step with the official launch of the first cohort in Casablanca. This inaugural group brings together 30 participants and marks the beginning of a phased rollout, with additional cohorts planned in Rabat and Tangier by the end of 2026.
Business Mama was designed in response to a growing reality: more and more women are seeking to re-engage with the workforce, regain financial independence, or bring entrepreneurial ideas to life, while balancing personal and family responsibilities. The program offers a practical, hands-on learning journey focused on the skills that matter most in today’s digital economy, combining training, mentorship, and real-world application.
Participants develop capabilities in digital marketing, the use of artificial intelligence for content creation and promotion, e-commerce, and the fundamentals needed to transform an idea into a viable business.
Benedita Miranda, Executive Director of Foundever.org and COO of Foundever in EMEA, commented: “With Business Mama, we aim to create concrete pathways back to professional activity for women who want to restart their careers or build their own projects. By focusing on skills such as artificial intelligence, marketing, and e-commerce, we are investing in an approach that reflects the realities of today’s economy and the opportunities it creates.”
Reda Nejjar, Country Leader of Foundever in Morocco, stated: “We are proud to launch the first Business Mama cohort in Casablanca and to support an initiative that directly contributes to empowering women across Morocco. The country has strong entrepreneurial potential, and through programs like this, we aim to help women, and soon also young people, turn that potential into concrete opportunities, while creating a positive and lasting impact in our local communities.”
Jessy Radwan, CEO of Carerha, added: “This new milestone for Business Mama reflects our commitment to supporting women with practical tools that directly contribute to building their businesses. Through an accessible, market-driven program, we aim to help them structure their ideas, build confidence, and turn their skills into real entrepreneurial projects.”
The launch of Business Mama in Morocco builds on an ongoing collaboration between Foundever.org and Carerha, first established in Egypt, where more than 250 women have already been supported in developing their skills and professional projects.
When the program was introduced in Morocco earlier this year, both partners emphasized their shared ambition to expand women’s access to the digital economy through a practical and accessible learning model. This launch event brings that vision to life, creating a space for connection, exchange, and forward-looking momentum around the program’s next steps.
The event was designed as a moment of engagement and community-building. It featured opening remarks from Foundever, Foundever.org, and Carerha, a presentation of the program and its timeline, and interactive exchanges aimed at fostering connections among participants from the very beginning. A panel discussion focused on building and growing a business in the digital age, covering topics such as e-commerce and AI for marketing through practical insights, real-world examples, and actionable advice.
Through this milestone, Foundever.org and Carerha are strengthening the impact of Business Mama in Morocco. Beyond raising awareness of changes in the future of work, the initiative is designed to create the conditions for a meaningful professional restart—equipping women with tools aligned with market realities and the evolving dynamics of the digital economy.
By placing artificial intelligence, marketing, and e-commerce at the core of the program, Business Mama focuses on immediately applicable skills that can support the creation of independent activities and micro-entrepreneurial ventures. This approach reflects a shared belief between Foundever.org and Carerha: that economic inclusion depends on access to the tools, knowledge, and capabilities shaping the economy of tomorrow.
Business Mama reinforces its purpose—to provide women who have stepped away from the workforce with a practical, action-oriented framework to help them launch, grow, and sustain their own businesses in an increasingly digital world.
