The International Day of Education is an opportunity to pause and reflect, but more importantly, to look ahead. At a moment when technology is transforming the way we work, learn and connect at unprecedented speed, education has become the defining factor between inclusion and exclusion, trust and disengagement, progress and fragmentation.
Artificial intelligence, automation and data are now embedded in everyday business and society. Yet access to the skills required to navigate this reality remains deeply uneven. When people are not equipped to understand, use and adapt to technology, the gap that emerges is not only digital. It is social, economic and human. Over time, that gap erodes trust in institutions, in employers and in the promise that innovation should benefit everyone.
Education is where that trust is rebuilt.
Today, education can no longer be viewed as a one-time phase of life or as a purely academic pursuit. It is continuous, practical and closely tied to employability, confidence and agency. Digital literacy, AI awareness, data understanding and the ability to collaborate across cultures are now essential life skills. Without them, participation in the future of work is simply not possible.
At Foundever, our transformation is guided by a clear belief: technology only creates value when it strengthens human connection. Foundever.org exists to extend that belief beyond our operations and into society. It is how we keep our brand promises to people and communities, by turning education, inclusion and employability into real opportunities for those who might otherwise be left behind.
This is not philanthropy disconnected from business. It is purpose translated into action.
Through Foundever.org, we work with local partners to co-create learning pathways that connect education to real outcomes. Women returning to the workforce, young people entering the job market and individuals excluded from the digital economy are not looking for charity. They are looking for access, skills and the confidence to shape their own future. When education combines human skills with digital capabilities, the impact goes far beyond employability. It restores dignity, independence and possibility.
This approach also reflects a broader expectation placed on companies today. Clients, partners and employees increasingly look for coherence between what organizations say and what they do. Social impact that sits apart from strategy no longer resonates. What builds credibility is alignment between innovation, values and measurable contribution to society.
Foundever.org plays that role for us. It is the human and empathetic dimension of our transformation, turning learning, mentoring and volunteering into moments that matter. It strengthens our culture, reinforces trust and demonstrates that growth and inclusion can move forward together.
As we mark the International Day of Education, one message is clear. The future of work will belong to those who can learn, adapt and reimagine. Ensuring that this future is inclusive is a shared responsibility, and business has a critical role to play. Education is the bridge between technology and trust. By investing in skills, access and opportunity, we are not only preparing people for jobs, but for change itself. And that is how we ensure that progress remains human at its core.
