Meet Arnaud and Dorian: More than a mentorship
From the start, Arnaud, of Paris, France, recognized something special in Dorian, of Dakar, Senegal, Whether it was taking the leap of faith by moving from Chad to Senegal or one of his many jobs, Dorian has a wealth of life and professional experiences. The only problem is, he often downplays his achievements. Throughout their time together, Arnaud worked to unlock Dorian’s self-confidence, to help him value and utilize his diverse experiences for a career in business. The mentorship taught Arnaud to be even more open-minded and to give to and learn from others. To set this example for his children, Arnaud introduced them to Dorian, solidifying something beyond mentorship – friendship and altruism.
“It was a pleasure to share my experiences and witness my mentee’s growth,” said Arnaud. “I’m confident he will have a very exciting career and make his Alma Mater proud.”
