This program was the first launched and funded by Foundever.org, and is a testament to our commitment to supporting real impactful causes such as helping young adult students from disadvantaged communities gain access to the job market, supporting young adult students in the development of their skills to meet the requirements of a highly competitive job markets, and coaching young adult students in their career paths and open their horizons.

Meet the mentors from Foundever

Mentorship is often seen as a one-way, transactional exchange of information, where mentors offer advice, wisdom and encouragement to their mentees. While our mentors certainly provided all of that and more, our mentees, in turn, enriched their mentors by offering fresh perspectives, helping them sharpen skills, and even contributing to their personal and professional growth. Of those surveyed, 90% of mentors indicated they would participate again.

The true power of our mentorship program lies in this mutual exchange, where everyone involved has the opportunity to learn and evolve together. Meet three Foundever mentors who benefited from the program:

  • For Alexander, a business development representative, the mentorship allowed him to achieve his personal goal of sharing his knowledge and experience to help someone grow professionally. He was touched to witness the transformation of his mentee from student to professional, as well as see her secure a job with the help of his advice.
  • Deborah, a recruitment manager, says the experience boosted her self-confidence and taught her that she has the ability to provide value to a student, something she was unsure of going into the mentorship. Thanks to Deborah, her mentee landed a reporting assignment in his dream field.
  • Caroline, a business unit manager, had the opportunity to interact with someone from her operational zone on a deeper level, and in the process, she improved her listening skills.

Three young professionals are better equipped for the business world thanks to these selfless volunteers.
