Kim Smouter

Kim Smouter brings a wealth of experience in advocacy and social justice to his role as Managing Director of Foundever.org, where he is at the helm of driving the #CXforGood movement. With a robust background in promoting racial equality and fostering collaboration among civil society organizations, Kim previously served as the Executive Director of the European Network Against Racism (ENAR). In this capacity, he worked closely with lawmakers and institutions across Europe to champion anti-racism initiatives and policy reforms. 

Prior to joining Foundever, Kim held senior leadership positions in the European Parliament and the European Network of National Civil Society Associations, where he significantly contributed to shaping the discourse on critical social issues. Whilst working for the North-East England Regional Development Agency, he coordinated pan-European networks of local and regional authorities championing the importance of skills and employability in economically disadvantaged communities. He also served as Head of Public Affairs at ESOMAR, playing a pivotal role in establishing the ESOMAR Foundation, the organization’s charitable arm dedicated to social impact. 

Kim is particularly passionate about forging innovative partnerships between civil society and investment finance, aimed at reducing race and ethnicity-based wealth disparities in Europe. He holds a master’s degree in European Public Affairs and a bachelor’s degree in European Studies from the University of Maastricht. 

As a proven leader and advocate, Kim is committed to leveraging Foundever resources and expertise to create a positive impact in customer experience while advancing social equity and community empowerment.
