Najet Tenoutit, Managing Director of Foundever.org, shares insights at IAOP panel on empowering communities through CX for good

MIAMI – November 20, 2024 – Foundever.org, the nonprofit initiative launched by Foundever®, is advancing its commitment to social impact with two programs in New York City that provide education and employment support to refugees and underserved youth. Recently discussed by Foundever.org’s Managing Director Najet Tenoutit on a panel at IAOP’s On Location: NYC event, this collaboration highlights a partnership facilitated by the Tent Partnership for Refugees — a global network of over 400 companies committed to economically integrating refugees — and implemented with Project Rousseau to provide participants with essential English-language education, mentorship, foundational general education courses and job readiness resources to facilitate integration into American society. This initiative demonstrates how business partnerships can help strengthen communities and create pathways to opportunity.

At the IAOP-hosted event, Najet shared the #CXforGood movement’s mission to use customer experience (CX) expertise as a force for positive change in a panel discussion moderated by IAOP CEO Debi Hamill. Through partnerships that cross industries, Foundever.org aims to foster meaningful pathways to workforce participation for underserved groups, illustrating the potential for businesses to drive sustainable social impact.

“Our collaboration with the Tent Partnership for Refugees and Project Rousseau in New York City is part of a larger effort to support young people with the skills and mentorship they need to create brighter futures,” said Najet. “By going beyond the workplace to engage with local communities, we’re seeing how #CXforGood can create tangible, lasting outcomes for individuals and families.”

Highlights of the NYC CXforGood Project
  • Pathways to Workforce Integration: The Foundever.org NYC initiative helps refugees build career foundations, providing vital language education and mentorship to support their journey toward workforce integration.
  • Education for Community Transformation: Working with Project Rousseau, a leader in educational support for underserved youth, Foundever.org delivers targeted resources and training to help immigrant and refugee students expand their educational and career horizons.
  • #CXforGood—A Movement for Lasting Change: This project exemplifies CXforGood’s mission by establishing a model for how businesses can support inclusivity and uplift communities. By empowering young refugees and underserved youth, Foundever.org is building a foundation for social progress that extends across diverse sectors.

This New York City project is part of an expanding portfolio of programs by Foundever.org to address economic and educational disparities globally, with recent efforts supporting communities in Egypt, French-speaking regions (France and Africa) and now across EMEA. Through CXforGood, Foundever.org is encouraging the CX industry and beyond to act as a positive force for community wellbeing.
