On this International Volunteer Day, we recognize those that are making Foundever.org a reality, our unsung heroes. Those colleagues who, through their time, talent and dedication, have been transforming lives, one a time, since the launch of our nonprofit operating foundation almost one year ago.

At Foundever.org, volunteers are not only essential—they are the heartbeat of our mission as a corporate foundations like Foundever.org can only succeed when employees step beyond the boundaries of their roles to give back. When our employees contribute their unique skills to causes they care about, they amplify the reach and effectiveness of our programs.

At Foundever.org, we’ve witnessed firsthand how volunteers transform dreams into reality. From mentoring students in underserved communities to leading workshops that empower women entrepreneurs, our volunteers exemplify the spirit of service. They remind us that the potential to make a difference exists within all of us—it simply needs the courage and opportunity to shine.

This year, Foundever.org launched several impactful initiatives under the #CXforGood banner, and volunteers were at the forefront. With our Global Mentorship Initiative program, for example, we connect employees with students in Morocco, Ivory Coast and Senegal. These mentorships go beyond professional advice—they instill confidence, foster hope and ignite dreams in young people facing challenging circumstances.

Why volunteerism matters

Volunteerism strengthens communities and fuels the work of nonprofits like Foundever.org. Here’s why it’s indispensable:

  1. Bridging resource gaps: Volunteers bring skills, energy, and time that often exceed the capacity of our resources. Their contributions enable us to launch and sustain programs that would otherwise be unattainable.
  1. Human connection: At the heart of volunteering is the power of connection. When employees mentor students, organize community events, or support local initiatives, they create bonds that transcend organizational goals and leave lasting impacts.
  1. Inspiring corporate culture: Volunteerism fosters a sense of purpose among employees. It reinforces the idea that what we do extends far beyond business—it’s about building a better world.

At Foundever.org, the #CXforGood movement embodies our belief in the transformative power of education, employment and empowerment. It’s a call to action to engage communities, unlock opportunities and create sustainable impact. Volunteerism is central to this vision. It bridges the gap between intention and action, empowering individuals to rise to their potential and paving the way for systemic change.
